Hotel Roma

Stayed here recently as I had business in the area. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and spoke good English. Continental breakfast was good. Could do with an extra couple of power sockets in the room and lost count of how many times I whacked my head in the TV shelf! Would stay agan if I'm in the area for a day or two.

I stay here regularly on business trips. The hotel staff are very friendly and approachable and have good language skills. The rooms are on the 'compact' side and the bathrooms even more so, however they are well equipped and generally very clean. The hotel does have a breakfast room for a continental breakfast but no restaurant, however, there is an excellent sea food restaurant and pizzeria opposite. If you get back late and fancy a drink, they will serve you in the small bar area but it is not permanently manned. For business, I find this place very convenient, however, leisure travellers may prefer something a little more mainstream, it is a couple of kilometres walk from the nearest underground station - Bisceglie - although there is a frequent bus service (number 322) that will drop you at the top of the road. As a business traveller, I do get al ittle frustrated with the single power socket in each room and the TV that only has local channels available. There is not much happening in the area in the evenings but if you like reading or need to work using the complimentary wifi, that is not a problem.

The hotel is in the suburbs of Milan; the city center can be reached by bus easiliy. The staff is friendly and checking in or out is quite efficient. The rooms are small with carpet that has seen better times; the bathroom is really claustrofobic. The air conditioning was not working whereas it was really needed when I was there. Luckily, the window could be opened which was good for fresh air but also for street noise. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but opposite the street there is a nice restaurant specialized in fish.

The hotel location is outer of Milan. But, it's not too hard to reach the local bus and metro to get to the center. All hotel staffs can speak very good English and can provide you a perfect information and hospitality during your stay. The room is 4 star standard type, attached with clean toilet, TV, Fridge. If you don't mind for a long traveling to the city center of Milan. This hotel can be your option to stay : )
