Hotel Villa Royale

Location central to shops and museums. Extremely comfortable very large bed. Great shower.

Overpriced. Room had very little space. Only one bedside table. Not enough room for another due to bed size. Loose bedside light fittings only lit the floor directly below it.

Very clean, comfortable beds, very helpful staff at reception. Decent breakfast. Good location. Public transport very close by. Would stay here again.

The bar in the hotel was closed while we where there. It would have been nice to have a little nightcap to warm up when we got back to hotel in the evenings. There wasn't a proper in our room, it was a telephone type shower but it didn't hang up anywhere. It was a bit difficult for me to have a quick shower as I had to climb in & out of the bath. (I have arthritis) We didn't have a great view from our room... part of a demolished building & a brick wall. We didn't really mind that anyway as we were out & about most of the day.
