Hotel Alfonso A Mare

It was magical, the location, the views, food, and everything. Staff were friendly and warm.

Only thing that I didn’t like was that reception is not available after 9 pm. So in case of an emergency, there is no one to contact. Since the location is also hard to reach from the center, I felt a bit anxious from time to time.

Leider war in Zimmer Nummer 7 die rechte Wand bei der Dusche nicht gefliest. Von daher zieht der Putz hier ständig Wasser vom Duschen. Wand ist somit permanent nass und schimmelt. Der Geruch hängt sich leider in der Wohnung fest. Beim öffnen der Zimmertüre nimmt man den Geruch sofort wahr. Liegen und Sonnenschirm sind leider nicht kostenfrei für die Hotelgäste ( 35.-€ würde es pro Tag kosten )

Worst hotel experience. Was put in a room with no functioning window and asked to speak to the manager to switch rooms where I was met with sarcasm and zero hospitality. Not only was the manager rude but the entire staff is flippant and rude. They wanted to charge me an additional $175 to have a window—$325 total when the entire hotel was empty. I then attempted to cancel my stay when I had no viable options which they also refused even though I had multiple nights booked. The private beach they claim to have is actually littered by a public side that bleeds into any privacy one could have to swim and the food is awful. The rooms are dirty and small. Please book your stay with a hotel who is warm and welcoming to guests—This hotel is not that.

Do not stay here. It’s the equivalent of staying in a dirty hostel with rude unwelcoming staff

You have to really pay attention when you can't get your car out we had an early flight and we forgot to mention it to somebody and there was no one there to get our keys. Truly, not their fault ... I believe they told us the hours when we first checked in...

The The room was very nice and the area around the hotel exceptional. The staff was helpful and the ability to park on site for a fee was very welcome. The restaurant breakfast was adequate but nothing great. The dinner options were good but very eclectic. The pricing was a little high and I don't know if the menu would meet everyone's expectations.

Excellent breakfast, friendly staff, great location right by the beach, excellent walk-in shower and decor (cliff wall incorporated into bathroom was a nice touch).

Being charged for use of the sun loungers on the beach in addition to the cost of the room. Absence of tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom.
