Tenuta Di Canonica

Breakfast was great. Service was excellent. Staff were very attentive. Grounds and rooms are beautiful and beds extremely comfortable. Pool area is beautiful as well, although in the heat wave the pool was pretty warm and not so refreshing.

We were staying with children and we were a bit uneasy about that when we realized that the majority of the people staying there seemed to be elderly. Initially we felt like we couldn't relax and had to keep the children from making too much noise in the pool, etc. Most people seemed not to mind the kids in the end, however, had we known that this may have been an issue we might not have booked there. Also, I was unsure of how to order snacks or beverages thought out the day. It didn't seem possible to do so, although on the last day I noticed another couple being served coffee by the pool. With children, we needed to be able to get these things at times other than meal times and we were never told who could help us. Canonica is a bit isolated and having to get into the car to go out for beverages wasn't ideal.

Der Aufenthalt dort war traumhaft. Die Lage, der Gesamtkomplex ästhetisch und wunderbar. Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Besitzer tauchten allerdings nicht auf, obwohl wir 14 Tage ihre Gäste waren . Perfekt,um zu entspannen, Kultur, Ruhe ,das Essen und das Leben zu genießen!

Excellent hotel. What wonderful grounds and pool. The food was outstanding. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Certainly we would stay here again and strongly recommend it to our family and friends.

The location was stunning. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly making us feel very much at home. A great location for travelling around . Lovely food.

Magnifico casale in campagna immerso in un'oasi di assoluta pace. Uno spaccato di eleganza italiana d'altri tempi in aperto contrasto con l'imperante standardizzazione delle esperienze turistiche.

Per apprezzare correttamente delle scelte come quella del menù degustazione fisso per la cena bisogna essere coscienti dello spirito di questa struttura e non aspettarsi un livello di servizio onnicomprensivo da grande struttura.
