Family hotel, extremely involved owner, hands on, paying attention to all our potential needs! Very close to the beach, clean and friendly rooms, spacious. Cleaning was done every day, towels changed whenever needed. They provide beach towels every day per request ( important if you try to travel light). The breakfast has a great variety of pastry and home made dessert. There is also fruit and salty, warm food. The coffee is great! But the real winner is to decide to have the other meals at the hotel :-). We had dinner which was provided on demand only for hotel guests, Italian cuisine that you can experience, different, every day, excellent food. Bonus, you get to taste the other dishes, beside the menu that you ordered.

All the streets in Viareggio are quite noisy day and night, due to scooters, cars and noisy people. If you prefer to sleep with open windows, you cannot do this. We had to keep windows closed and air conditioning on, luckily the thermostat worked just fine so we were not troubled by the AC.

Staff very friendly and always available. Rich breakfast with homemade cakes. Good location closed to the pine forest and near the sea as well. Good value for money.

Breakfast was very pleasant, nice staff serving tea and coffee gave us a whole jug of tasty hot chocolate, good array of options hot and cold e.g. omelet and mushrooms. Location was excellent, under a 5 min walk to the beaches and seating outside the hotel was provided.

A lot. Receptionist was NOT genuinely friendly or kind at all - unprofessional even my daughter complained about her! She smiled at other people when I couldn’t understand some Italian, doesn’t smile at us, and looks at us at breakfast, I can’t eat! Dirty Floor - felt sand on the floor as soon as we entered, disgusting. Unsafe Bathroom - Zero out of ten, dangerous. Water floods the floor when you shower, there is a crack in the pull out shower and the foot wash is broken. How is this fit for customers to use? Weak Air Conditioning - at 17 degrees it was still hot. Hard beds. Noisy in the morning - staff collecting supplies next to our room.
