Bella, pulita, posizione ottima

I liked the location and free parking. The hot water and shower were good. The towels were great, soft white cotton, as good as the ones in Giza hotels, the biggest ones the size of sheets. The bed was big and comfortable. The view from the balcony was lovely.

There was no stair free access to anything anywhere on the property, even the car park involved a trek up a steep hill. The claim to be wheelchair accessible is a complete and utter lie! It would not even be possible for a wheelchair to get between the car park and the hotel. I am of limited mobility and I found the trek between the car park and the hotel extremely challenging. The view from the balcony was great, sadly it was also no distance at all from the adjacent balcony with nothing between the two, so it was anything but private. Early in the morning (6am!) people talking on other balconies sounded like they were in the bedroom with me, making it impossible to sleep. Breakfast was not great, at least they had a little wholemeal bread but nothing much else for a vegetarian who doesn't eat unhealthily sweet things. Calling the breakfast fabulous is another complete lie. The mattress was comfortable but there was only one option for covering and it was too hot for the climate, so I woke covered in sweat or cold, nothing in between. The flush in the toilet was a tiny knob which was painful to press hard enough to operate the flush. The hotel has no restaurant. There are many fantastic restaurants nearby but all involve a trek up a very steep hill or a drive. The hotel has no laundry. The nearest normal launderette is 10 km away! There is a 'laundry' close by but it is not self service, never opens on a Thursday and because the lady who does the ironing (I possess nothing that requires ironing) had been off sick, was closed thro
