The host was incredibly friendly, warm, welcoming, supportive, and kind. She even prepared breakfast packages for us to take along when we had an early check-out, which was a very thoughtful touch.

The room looked a bit more polished in the photos. Villa No. 8, in particular, felt slightly dated and could perhaps benefit from a light refresh, though this was only a minor observation. On a positive note, the mattress was exceptionally comfortable. I also found that my usual charger didn’t fit the socket outlets as the plugs were a bit too thick; however, the receptionist kindly provided an adaptor, which resolved the issue. It might be nice to have a few more warm breakfast options, as the boiled eggs were sometimes not served warm, although the pastry heaters were a nice touch. For larger groups, it was a little tricky for everyone to have breakfast together at the same time, as we occasionally had to wait for space, but these are just small, friendly suggestions rather than any real concerns. As we spent most of our time exploring Lucca and the surrounding areas, none of this impacted our overall amazing experience.
