Villa le Magnolie

Villa jest pięknie odrestaurowanym budynkiem, podobno z XVII w. Ma swoje niedogodności z uwagi na okres budowy (np. mała łazienka), ale przy wyposażeniu wprowadzono wiele akcentów które nawiązują do dawnych czasów. Byliśmy zachwyceni. Śniadania bardzo urozmaicone.

Przy dłuższym pobycie może przeszkadzać mało miejsca.

Grande disponibilità al check-in. Ottima posizione, vicino al parco delle terme ed anche alla funicolare per Montecatini Alto (purtroppo in manutenzione in questo periodo). Stanza grande, pulita e ben fornita.

Niente di particolare, a cercare il pelo nell'uovo l'ordine della colazione, che si compila il giorno prima da un foglio e viene portata in camera, almeno in questo periodo, non ha funzionato perfettamente visto che non è arrivato esattamente tutto quanto avevamo chiesto, forse c'erano delle esclusioni che non abbiamo capito, in ogni caso è stata ottima ed abbondante e non abbiamo ritenuto necessario discuterne

Malgré une heure d'arrivée fixée, personne ne nous attendais. Tout était fermé et personne ne répondait a nos appels et messages. Grâce a booking nous avons été remboursé et trouver un autre hébergement

Wonderful place to stay, staff helpful and very friendly. Food excellent, despite being only a mile away from Montecatini Termé centre we ate in the hotel restaurant most nights. The swimming pool was probably the b at in the area. The famous funicular railway up to Montecatini Alto was only a few hundred yards away and the view from up there were truly breathtaking.

Our 3rd visit, great location for exploring this part of Tuscany. Beautifully kept villa with the amenities available in the adjacent hotel.

The bed was comfortable and the room was large. Parking was free. It’s midway between Pisa/Lucca and Florence. There were some nice restaurants up at Montecatini-Alto (10 minute drive).

Plumbing is old - no mixers - a hot tap & a cold tap, water in shower kept going hot and cold, shower rail was broken, shower box was leaky - tiles on floor were loose, no air-conditioning or heating in bedroom (thankfully the weather was coolish). The villa is in serious need of refurbishment. The breakfast in the main hotel was average at best, although the staff were very friendly. Location wise, there’s 1 pizza restaurant and a laundromat close by, but otherwise it’s a long walk or drive to anything else. You definitely need a car if you’re staying here - the train station is 30 minutes walk.
