Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt mit schönen Momenten. Das Hotel ist wirklich eine Villa was nicht wirklich dazu passt ist der Service beim Frühstück. Eine negative Erfahrung was das wir am Morgen unserer Abreise um 09.30 kein Frühstück mehr bekommen haben. Es wurde uns noch eine Tasse Kaffee angeboten am Tisch zum Ausgang.
Very nice hotel. Friendly service, secure car park, nice swimming pool and great views. Good location for touring the chianti region and visits to the towns of Piza, Lucca, Sienna and Florence.

Quite difficult to find by car at first - follow the various signs through the town and up to Montecatini Alto. Once found once, no problem thereafer. The hotel was beautifully positioned with great views over the valley and up to Montecatini Alto. Really clean rooms, serviced well each day. Bed comfortable and good shower, television etc. Hotel staff genuinely helpful and friendly - especially Valentina on reception and the guy at breakfast who was a treat. Good swimming pool and poolside beds, lovely patio. Great choice at breakfast, everything you could want for continental breakfast. For the price, my wife and I thought it was superb. Not so good on my legs, so the hire car was essential for me. For anyone good on their pins walking to town should not be a problem - 20 minutes or so. Loved the hotel, loved the surroundings, within easy reach of railways to Florence, Pisa, Lucca etc. Well done Hotel Villa Maria.
