Aussen Alster Hotel

The location was the big highlight for me. It was close to the river and all other places I needed to be. The breakfast was fine, but after a few days it became monotonous. I stayed in room 1, facing the street and in the ground floor of the hotel. I was concerned about noise, but it turned out to be quite alright. No problem whatsoever. Another plus was the coffee machine in the room.

Unfortunately, it was rather hot in the room. The temperature outside had risen to over 30 Celsius and that was felt inside the room. Even though the staff was kind to place a couple of vents inside the bedroom, it was simply not enough, especially throughout the night. The toiletries in the bathroom were minimal with one product fit all (hair/skin/etc). Also, apart from hand soap, toilet paper, and hair dryer, there were no other amenities. For a 4 star hotel, I was expecting more. I could not watch English news (e.g., BBC or CNN), apart from Sky news, I found that bothersome.

Die Terrassenkissen waren nicht so toll ...ziemlich verschmutzt der Garten bräuchte ein bißchen LIEBE! Aber ansonsten alles perfekt!!!!!

Das Alster Hotel liegt sehr Zentral. Man ist schnell an der Aussenalster sowie an der Binnenalster. Sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Hotel ist gemütlich eingerichtet.

Unser Zimmer war zur Straße hin und es war viel zu warm wenn da die Sonne drauf scheint ist es schnell aufgeheizt und da nutzt auch der Ventilator nichts. Das Zimmer war eng und es war insgesamt sehr laut da es zur Straße hin gelegen war. Das würde ich so nicht mehr akzeptieren. Der Klodeckel hat gewackelt, dass Bad war mega klein. Das hat mir nicht gefallen.

Die ruhige Lage nahe des Stadtzentrums, das lebendige Quartier, die grüne Oase im Innenhof. Freundliches Personal.

Eine Kaffeemaschine, die von den Gästen selbst bedient werden könnte, wäre eine gute Ergänzung zum ausgezeichneten und reichhaltigen Frühstücksbuffet.
