"A pleasant stay in a beautiful village"

6.0

The atmosphere was great and the location is perfect for skiing and exploring the village.

The room was nice, but there were a couple of things that I feel could have been better. For example, one of the curtain poles in the room was broken and hanging off the edge, the toilet had a leak and there was no bin in the room, which meant that there was nowhere to dispose of rubbish. Also, it seemed that some of the staff did not speak good English, which made communication a little difficult.

"Seefeld is charming & covers the basis for a great family trip for beginner, intermediate skiers."

8.0

25 min taxi (65 Euros) from Innsbruck Airport. Accessible via train or Bus. A Great Hotel, extremely friendly and helpful staff, Excellent Location, Walking distance (8 mins) to Gschwandtkopf ski hire, ski lift & ski bus stop. An excellent stay, an abundance of skiing for beginner and intermediate skiers. The resort is basic but has everything you will need, a family friendly town.

Not a complaint, just worth noting - In Seefeld you will struggle to eat at a restaurant after 20:30. We were turned away from 3 half empty restaurants before a server at a lovely Italian restaurant (Restaurant Seefelder Stube) ummed & ahhed before agreeing to seat us. They prefer walk in's before 20:00 / pre bookings 20:30 latest. Seefeld is not a party town which is fine (nor what I was after) but you do struggle for a bit off late apres ski or night life. You will find a few bars with music and an atmosphere (Putzi's cafe Bar) open till around 22:00 but that's pretty much it. For a late drink you can sign into the casino (ID checked and photo taken every visit) and preload 30 Euros onto a casino card to spend in there.

"Very disappointing and not worth the money at all"

2.0

Very little. My only two points go to Muhammed, who made his best to serve us well during the dinners. Without him, our stay would be a disaster.

This is by no mean a four-star hotel. Read carefully before booking. Very small room! Our "superior double room" was way too small for 3 persons: one person had to give way to another one to pass through. Hotel had a quick and sketchy renovation, and this could be noticed in many details: toilet flush was connected to hot water(!), not enough wall plugs, TV did not have ports (HDMI) available for plugging your devices, cheap wood furniture that produce a lot of wood chips - my kids got several splinters in feet. Internet was horribly slow and not available for devices that don't support browser authentication (Nintendo Switch, etc.). If you plan to do any work or make video calls through their Internet - forget it. No heating in the ski/boot storage room, so you will be skiing in wet boots! Most personnel do not speak a single word in English. Breakfast was so-so, but worse, they didn't refill empty buffet plates and missing hot water - we were not able to drink tea, and their coffee was always cold (no thermoses!). You could ask for a cappuccino, but as I discovered at checkout, it was at extra cost! Same story with dinners. Their dinner consists of 4-5 courses, but all are barely eatable: kids couldn't even eat the desert! Instead of the main course I asked pizza for kids, and they happily charged 20 Euro for each (very average) pizza at check-out - no warnings that it costs extra! Dishwashing is very poor. Plates are sometimes dirty, and once I got two stacked spoons glued to each other by old food. Finally, we were checking out very early and could not have breakfast. The evening before checkout, I asked for some sandwiches instead of the breakfast, which they promissed to prepare in the morning. Of course, they forgot about it! Instead, they gave me a 200 Euro bill for restaurant! So, be carefull when consuming food with half-board reservations - nothing is included in it!

"We looked back on another good week on the slopes. Were lucky with the weather and snow conditions"

7.0

Very good, friendly Extensive breakfast Good wine recommendations at diner Very flexible with the food for kids Very quiet so good welness area

Difficult to control temperature in the room and often too warm, like in many hotels Bit expensive when evaluating afterwards but service and friendliness of staff, good food and drink recommendations, as well caring for small kids, making up for that easily

The location is amazing, less than a minute from the ski area. It is a small hotel owned by a lovely family, the members of which are always present to make sure the guests are being taken care of.
