Hotel Tannenhof

Staff were nice & helpful. They were very willing to answer questions & give some guidance. Room was good. Location was a bit further out (not horribly far but perhaps not the most convenient) - car is definitely recommended. Breakfast was not included in price. No AC so had to keep the window open & it was a bit louder (not extremely loud) outside with people talking & such at the beginning of the night.

I highly recommend this hotel. The location is breathtakingly beautiful. The staff was friendly and the room exceeded my expectations. It is a short drive from Neuswanstein Castle and Linderhof Palace.

We are 2 adults and 2 kids. Rooms are spacious, clean and has small kitchen. Bathroom very spacious. It has a outdoor playground in a green area we’re children can play

We would come back and stay here again. Very comfortable two bedroom apartment style accommodation with a very nice breakfast.

Then experience at this hotel was truly awesome and more than we thought upon booking.

The description of this "hotel" is very misleading. This is NOT a hotel, it is more of a hostel. I booked on hotels.com and thought I was getting a room for my family (2 adults and 3 yr old) when we got to the "hotel", which was a lot further away than the 6km it stated from Fussen Germany, we where offered a dorm setting. The sister of the owner offered us a room but we would have to pay another 70 Euros but we would also have to wait for about 15 minutes until the owner came back. When I contacted hotels.com they contacted the "hotel" and stated they could not give us a refund due to us leaving and they could have accommodated us. I hope someone reads this and doesn't fall into the same issue we did!

Beautiful cosy hotel at the bottom of a hill, on the outskirts of a small village. It is amazingly peaceful and picturesque place. Breakfast is fantastic, kids will enjoy playground just outside the hotel. We felt sorry for not staying there longer, loved it.

Room was great for us and the children, plenty of space. Staff also very helpful and friendly.
