"Excellent"

The hotel and the staff were very friendly and informative. The area that the hotel is situated in is beautiful, safe, and clean. However we paid through hotels.com and then were charged again at the hotel so beware when booking.

"Zugspitze trip, nice hotel"

This was a great spot if you are in the Zugspitze/Ehrwald area. Nice rooms, lots of space, great outdoor eating area, and nice little community to walk through. And the mountain views are amazing.

"ABOVE AND BEYOND EXPECTATION!"

We wanted to explore Garmisch, Germany yet experience a little of what Austria had to offer as well. Just 30 minutes south is the lovely village of Lermoos. We're not one for large crowds and this hotel was the perfect off the beaten path place. I extensively research hotels, restaurants and pretty much anything else that can be looked up. This place had stellar review across the board. And they are SO accurate! We had the most amazing view from our room of the Zugspitze and more. We had never done a "half board" before but once we had our delicious breakfast (especially the breads!), we decided to opt for it our other 2 nights. We were NOT disappointed! The food was delicious...and not to mention 5 courses! They even offer a lunchtime snack. We had our very own table and the staff are quick to remember you and your language preference. We brought our dog and even he got lots of attention and scratches. The room was clean, warm and inviting and the view deserves to mentioned again as nothing less than SPECTACULAR! Our favorite hotel experience in Europe thus far. We will return!

"Beyond Wonderful"

We loved every single second of staying at this wonderful hotel!! We had only allowed one night in our trip and I was sick that we had to go to Munich.The photos do not do this hotel justice. We ate dinner there that night, and it was the best meal we have had on our trip through Germany, Austria and Switzerland.. (and best priced). The views from the rooms are something from a dream. We will be back. I am sure it will be more crowded in the Winter, but it was a nice time (August) to be there.
