Hotel Schwarzer Adler - Sport & Spa

Fabulous location at the start of the main pedestrian zone. Spectacular view of the hills and mountains from our bed. Huge doors that could open right out were awesome. Afternoon sun was perfect. Beautiful authentic Austrian building. Great pools and spa areas. Nice selections for breakfast . Afternoon tea was a lovely treat. Accomodating and friendly staff. Easy parking at hotel. Gorgeous St Anton summer experience.

I liked everything, couldn’t fault the hotel

The Schwarzer Adler was a lovely hotel and provided so much more than we had expected. We ended up staying an extra night as it was such good value. The evening meal was a delicious set 5 course menu with a vegan option. The restaurant staff were brilliant and the restaurant manager really friendly and helpful. The hotel had a lovely family feel to it. There were so many thoughtful and lovely elements to the hotel. This included the outdoor and indoor pool, the collection from the station and the views. Just a great hotel that hopefully we will return to next year!

As it was hot, would try to book a room with a/c next time if possible or a balcony.

The staff are attentive and kind. The food in amazing, along with a great children’s menu. The facilities are excellent.

It was a little warm in the bedroom, but it was a hot week in summer.

Excellent food. Children were well catered for with pool facilities and play area.

Construction work opposite was sometimes noisy and started early in the mornings

Cleanliness - there are bugs in the room (silverfish) and we found several ones in different rooms. Once we raised the issue they tried to be accommodating and showed us alternative rooms at least. Service other than that was absolutely terrible, especially in the dining room. On the day of check out we were leaving early and had confirmed with reception if we could go for breakfast 7.15 (opens 7.30 usually), which was confirmed twice. Once we did go however the staff tried to tell us because we had already settled our bill and checked out, breakfast is no longer included and we have to pay for breakfast again. They were super rude and in the end we had to leave.
