Albergo Fontana

Loved it there.. staff and management was super and helpful.

A lovely friendly hotel with great staff who went beyond helping us with bus and train timetables anytime we needed it. A couple of nights we sat in the outside area to eat and it was no problem to bring our own food in and reception to serve us drinks, cutlery etc. My room was on the 1st floor and was very clean and bright with towels replenished daily. There was a larger than normal single bed in a spacious room. Soundproofing wasn't too good though as I could hear music from the bar underneath until 10pm when it was switched off and could also hear other people talking in their rooms. We opted out of the breakfast and went to a great bar next door. The centre is a bus ride away and after walking into town a few times we started taking the bus as it was a bit of a trek. The bus stops in and out of town are right outside or opposite the hotel. Not many choices for eating locally in the evening and hotel doesn't have a restaurant so tended to do lunch in town then get takeaway at night from the few options nearby. So if you don't mind taking the bus and aren't expecting to go out eating locally at night this is a comfortable, friendly hotel with great staff.

Recently stayed 2 nights at Albergo Fontana. Room: spacious and spotless clean. View: Our room was on the main road side facing the bus stop/buildings but the rooms overlooking the patio must be nicer and quieter. A jacuzzi in the patio was available for guests. Staff: all the staff we came across were very friendly and helpful. Location: there is a large hospital near the hotel and there wasn't much to do near the hotel. Old town is 30 minutes walk. Overall, comfortable stay.

We only stayed one night while traveling from Cinque Terre to Munich. We really liked Verona and hope to return in the future. The hotel was a true gem after two weeks on the road. We were warmly greeted by Alice, a kind young lady with a friendly disposition, who checked us in with a smile. We stayed in room 115 which had a beautiful private terrace. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Alice gave us a great recommendation for a local restaurant (Trattoria dalla Bruna) near the hotel. It was the best meal we had in Italy in two weeks of travel. She also gave us directions for the bus to the city centre, which was super convenient and easy. Pick up and drop off were directly in front of the hotel. The breakfast was typical and fresh and served with a smile. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in the Albergo Fontana and hope to return in the future...especially room 115 with the terrace. Thank you Alice and the staff at Albergo Fontana. Nice hotel couple of kilometers from Verona old city with good bus connections. Clean and tidy room and good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Couple of good restaurants nearby.

All staff have made us feel very welcome attentive and they are all so friendly. Location wise is near to the central and is convenient. Matter of only half an away by 10-15mins drive to the Arena Di Verona so Manu places to explore near by. If you struggle with what to do or where to go when it comes to food and drinks , staff will help and guide you throughout and give you some suggestions. They are very helpful.

It's about 2 Km from the city center. We booked it at the last minute. Wonderful hosts and service. Really nice breakfast. Kitchen staff was excellent.

L’hotel è in un’ottima posizione. Si raggiunge tutto con 15/20 minuti a piedi e per chi non volesse camminare c’è la fermata dell’autobus proprio di fronte l’ingresso della struttura. Le camere sono belle, spaziose e dotate di tutti i comfort. Proprio la struttura in generale è davvero molto carina. Il personale è gentile e disponibile. Noi personalmente abbiamo avuto una piccola disavventura e si sono immediatamente adoperati per aiutarci. Assolutamente consigliato!
