Albergo Fontana

I loved this hotel. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful. The rooms are great value particularly during the festival season, are airconditioned and most rooms are away from the main road. The hotel is a little way out from the centre but buses are plentiful and taxis inexpensive. The menu for lunch is simple providing good value salads for a few euros.

Stayed one night. Basically ok. A bit pricey considering non-central location.

Good price/value ratio. Good proximity (10 min walk to the city center). Longer shower curtains would be good to avoid soaking the bathroom while taking shower. Very friendly and helping staff. Overall impression: very good.

zum Zentrum kann man mit dem Bus fahren, auch wieder zurück, nur nachts nach dem Arena-Besuch wird es schwieriger. Auch zu Fuß ist die Innenstadt gut zu erreichen. Gerade im Sommer, wenn die Vorstellungen in der Arena sind, eine relativ preisgünstige Unterkunft. Wir wurden sehr herzlich aufgenommen und haben uns wohlgefühlt.

trés bon séjoour dans cel hotel avec toutes les commodités,trés propre et le personnel aimable.en plus il y a un parking en principe 10 euros la journée mais nous ils nous ont pas fait payer et cela est pratique car le centre historique est à 20 minutes à pied.le seul bémol c'est le bruit de la circulation de la rue mais sinon trés bien

Lovely stay. A mile from the old centre but on the bus route if it's too hot to walk. Another 15 minutes to the Arena. Very helpful family hotel. We had a room with a shady balcony. No breakfast, but coffee and brioche from the bar. We loved it.

Det er et hyggeligt mindre hotel med en hyggelig atmosfære. men i betragtning af at morgenmad ikke er inkluderet, der er ikke køleskab på værelserne synes vi det var ret dyrt.

Fint ophold, nok lidt dyrt fordi morgenmaden ikke var incl.

This was a little further from old Verona than I was expecting, but it was a pleasant walk. Although some of the staff didn't speak English they were extremely friendly and helpful, so it was a nice quiet place to come back to after the very crowded streets of the centre. Accommodation is not luxurious but very clean. If I didn't want a more central location I would go there again.

The hotel is situated in a residential area of Verona which is a short bus ride into the city or a long walk if you're fit enough. The surrounding area is clean and litter free. The hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating.The cafe is open all day and sells a limited amount of food but it's good quality and reasonably priced. There is a nice outside area to eat and drink. The room was really modern with en-suite faciilities. Bedding and towels were changed every day. Couldn't fault it.
