Villa Angelica

Having stayed in Pompei and Florence, both of which were noisy and busy, it came as a wonderful surprise to arrive at Villa Angelica which is situated down a quiet lane. The location was brilliant, being close to both the beach on one side of the Lido and the ferry terminal and restaurants and shops on the other side of the Lido. Our hostess was excellent and nothing was too much trouble.

Getting pickpocketed in Venice - be very very careful when queuing on packed landing stages for the vaporetto.

Enjoyed having breakfast in a covered area in the garden - penty of choice and high quality. I also enjoyed chatting to the lady in charge in French, as my Italian is virtually non-existent and it turned out we were both ex-teachers of French. She was very helpful with potential access problems and we never found ourselves locked out!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les qualités d’accueil ,de conseil, de gentillesse , de discrétion, et de disponibilité de la personne qui nous a accueillis pendant tout notre séjour . En plus elle parle très correctement le Français ce qui nous a permis de profiter au maximum de tous les sites exceptionnels à visiter sur Venise et ses environs. La villa Angelica est un havre de paix qui nous permet de nous ressourcer après des journées passées dans la foule qui envahit les rues de Venise.En plus,il est à deux pas d’un excellent restaurant.

Quelque difficulté pour trouver un stationnement gratuit pour un sejour prolongé. Mais à force de chercher nous avons trouvé notre bonheur !

Tout. La gentillesse. la proximité avec les vaporettos. Le petit dej, le confort, la propreté.. le calme. Tout.
