Hotel Melissa

It was a good bargain for the price. The beach is literally 50 m down the stairs with umbrellas and chairs included in the accommodation. I recommend dining in the restaurant with the view of the sea. The staff is very polite and the food is delicious and not pricey at all. The room was spartan, but quiet, big and spotless cleaned daily before noon. Air-conditioning worked without problems. Breakfast was decent with fresh coffee made on request. The hotel is in the centre of Torre Melissa. The railway is right next to it, but I didn't hear the trains passing by at all.

The elevator is tiny and claustrophobic, you have to squeeze the button of your floor for every move separately. The hallways were hot due to extreme daily temperature, and air conditioning in the breakfast room didn't work, which made eating a bit uneasy.

Excellent hôtel, grands espaces intérieurs, belle chambre avec balcon donnant sur la mer, très bon petit déjeuner et le tout pour seulement 39 € TTC. A recommander vivement

Cut off from shopping by the train tracks

I visited during the off season, when Hotel Melissa was one of the few places to stay in the area. There is very little to do or see in Torre Melissa, but the weather was lovely and warm, the beach is beautiful and completely empty. I had a lovely conversation with the local fishermen who were emptying their catch while repairing their nets on the beach in front of the hotel. The hotel, which has one of the only "upscale" restaurants in the area was packed on a Friday night. The food was delicious and fresh, while the service was great and the servers friendly. The town is only a few minutes drive to nearby Torre Ciro' and about 25 minutes from its mountain top sister, Ciro', both of which are pretty and worth the effort.

Cette établissement a eu de meilleurs jours.. ascenseur brisé, déjeuné simple , réceptionniste incapable, pas de serviette de plage, Il faut sortir de l hotel , passer par le parkimg pour avoir accès au restaurant ...Climatiseur sur le bord de lacher...A éviter

We had sea view room with balcony ,the room was well equipped and spacious. The on site restaurant was excellent.

Struttura esternamente ristrutturata che gode di una posizione invidiabile fronte mare. Purtroppo le stanze avrebbero bisogno di una importante ristrutturazione. Il bagno non è climatizzato. Il copriletto non pulitissimo.

Excellent location on a beautiful beach, airy spacious rooms, lots of windows, balcony. Good breakfast, friendly staff.

A bit worn, needs a spring clean.
