Hotel Orsa Maggiore

The hotel is pretty comfortable with the cosy swimming pool area. The staff is nice and willing to help. Maybe only at the reception desk information could be provided more clearly. The room is rather small but comes with a big bathroom and the balcony. The breakfast is of good variety and each room has its own table. But it’s better to come earlier, because closer to the end, some food might be already missing. The hotel is located close to the volcano, and in 15-20 minutes walk from the port and the beaches.

There was a shuttle bus taking guests from and to the port but unfortunately no one informed us about it after the booking and payment, and we learnt about it only when arrived to the hotel on our own. So when booking the hotel, remember to contact the hotel asking about this option.

Stanza molto piccola. Mancanza di zanzariere alle finestre. Hotel vecchio stampo che avrebbe bisogno di un pochino di ammodernamento.

Chambre confortable et conforme aux photos. Accueil en français et arrivée possible avant l'heure pour déposer nos bagages. L'hôtel est doté d'une piscine. Le buffet du petit-déjeuner était bien garni.

Un peu excentré : compter 15-20min de marche depuis le port
