an amazing hidden treasure in the heart of tuscany the staff were more then happy to help or offer advise on anything and were always keen to here where we'd been for the day and recomended some gems victor was fabulous and the wine tasting was fantastic we were checkin every bottle every time we went out treat yourself and have a meal at the restuarant for somethinng truely italian and tuscan, the castello is set up a windy gravel road, but that just made it more exciting that it was hidden away from everyone. I can't praise this place enough, we had an apartment which was just fabulous we could sit on the terrace drinking all the chanti we'd just brought having a fridge is a god send for all the ham and cheese purchased, and a powerful desent shower we could ask for anything more there was nothing we needed or wanted from this place you can do as much or as little as you want we will be back soon
The hotel is somewhat of the beaten path for tourists traveling a few days to Tuscany, but well located for exploring Chianti wine and olives. Great place to for romantic getaway or just relax, with the hotel nested among olive groves and wines. The hotel itself is charming, with rooms decorated and done in tradition with the 1,000 yrs old tower housing it. Recommend dining at restaurant on site.
As you drive up the rather scary road to the castle not knowing if you are in the right place, you suddenly fall upon this enchanting castle! Staff from the cleaning crew to the wait staff, to the front desk were amazing! Helpful, courteous, knowledgeable. Our room was immaculate and spacious and very authenic. Would go back and stay again in a minute! Thank you XYZ for the fabulous food and wine pairings and for taking good care of shipping our wine order.
