The location was perfect and the staff were nice

The hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment, the only nice thing at the hotel was the courtyard.

We had a really lovely stay here overall. The location is perfect — right near the old town, so there are loads of restaurants, cafés, shops, and attractions all within walking distance. The outdoor area around the hotel is also really pretty and nice to relax in. The staff were genuinely amazing and couldn’t do enough to help. After I hurt my leg one day, they even opened the kitchen at midnight to get me ice and checked up on me, and throughout the stay they were always there offering a helping hand with anything we needed. Lots of irons/hairdryers available to use The room itself was great for getting ready, especially with all the mirrors which made it really convenient for us. Also super comfy and clean and cleaners come everyday. We had a lovely view overlooking the town and was stunning! We’d also seen reviews mentioning noise from the old town at night, but honestly once the balcony doors and curtains were shut, it wasn’t bad at all and we slept fine. Overall, despite the smell issue, we really enjoyed our stay thanks to the excellent location and incredibly kind staff. Would definitely recommend as its budget friendly and also a lovely place.

The only downside was a sewage-type smell that would sometimes linger around the hotel and room area, likely because there were no vent/air circulation/window in the bathroom. It would improve after cleaning when they sprayed, but the smell did tend to come back later on.

The location was in a good spot. The staff was all very pleasant (special thank you to Hamza at the front desk for accommodating my extra time!).

My door was quite hard to close. The shower was also old.
