Vila Recife Hotel

Location is amazing. Not enough hangers in room and they advertise that hairdryers and irons are available. However, they are not in your room so you have to ask at reception for one of these items and they are not always available. Housekeeping left us without some facilities twice so we had to call down to reception who were happy to help.

Deu tudo certo, desde o momento de nossa chegada, já estava tudo providenciado e o funcionário já tinha os detalhes da reserva.

No quarto, ao invés de cama de casal, havia duas camas de solteiro.

We paid for 21 beds, yet we were only given 19 beds until the last night. The first two nights we had to pay for an extra room each night, despite having already paid for these. Both nights I had to have hour long conversations with the staff about paying for 21 beds and only 19 beds being available to us. The first night we were refunded the extra room we had to buy, but the second night we were not refunded. I’d avoid this place, it really ruined what should have been a lovely visit to Albufeira Old Town.

The lovely lady at reception moved me to a quieter room. She was very helpful.

A busy hotel. Lots of coming and going.

The hotel is in a great location, right beside the beach and close to all the shops, restaurants and pubs in the old town. The staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful.

The hotel isn’t very soundproof and you could hear people walking in and out of their rooms.
