Sentido Galosol

Grand complexe hôtelier un peu impersonnel avec de très bons équipements. Grande chambre, très confortable avec balcon donnant sur l’océan. Seul bémol le sauna qu’il faut réserver et la piscine intérieure qu’il faut évacuer à 18 heures pour cause de cours collectifs. Très bon petit déjeuner.

Great stay and location

The breakfast was fresh, with a variety of choice. The bedroom was nice clean and spacious with a view that was amazing to watch the sunrise each morning from the balcony. The facilities were good, the bus services 155 into town always punctual and again the journey to Funchal had amazing ocean and hilltop views, with winding roads offering a nice sceneric veiws. I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend.

Parking situation is dire. Hotel in good shape, rooms v comfortable. Information a bit chaotic like it’s breakfast options. Location is off the beaten track. Was not overally impressed but absolutely had some high points. Only my opinion. Looked popular.

It is an amazing hotel, the people at the reception were excellent and in general this hotel has to be a 5 starts one I recommend this hotel highly and for sure I will stay here in a second opportunity to visit again Madeira

NO PARKING NO PARKING NO PARKING The hotel overall is beautiful, relaxing and if you are looking to spend days inside the hotel maybe it is worth it. To be honest, I regret staying here because of the parking and food. If you go to madeira you are on adventure mode, like hiking, walking, and driving a lot. You just want to arrive relax and rest, not having to stress about finding parking knowing what you paid for the stay. I was lucky enough to find almost every day (keep in mind it was low season), but I parked in a random spot twice and hoped the car wouldn't get towed. The food is not the best, it is better to go to a local restaurant to eat. Breakfast looks like they used some of the food from last night. The omelette station was worth it. Coffee is an absolute no (if you’re a serious coffee lover.)

The Spa was incredible. We used the ocean view sauna every day and loved it! Room was clean and tidy, we had a nice view from our balcony. Walkable to many restaurants in the area. It was a relaxing and quiet location compared to the more lively Funchal.

Staff was awesome, they knew we had an early flight and offered to have. Breakfast box for us upon checkout. Property is large and difficult to navigate

The room was very nice with a wonderful Jew and balcony. Walked down to their bar and it was awesome with an amazing view of the ocean. Didn’t walk around much because it rained all night.

The front desk staff were all super helpful and friendly!
