Ein wunderschönes altes Hotel direkt an der Adria mit wunderschönen Zimmern und einem tollen Blick auf das Meer. Sehr freundliches Personal mit einem schönen Empfang und reichhaltigen Frühstück.

A beautifully located, grand hotel set in an elegant classical building. The location is excellent, with many parts of the city easily reachable on foot. The sea is clean and beautiful. Lunch on the terrace

Unfortunately, the “superior room with double bed and sea view” category does not represent a consistent standard. Some rooms have a larger balcony equipped with a table and chairs, while other rooms of the same category and price are smaller, with balconies that are barely usable and have neither a table nor chairs. In addition, during unloading, the bellboy lost my hat, and the hotel staff made no real effort to locate it or offer any form of compensation. Some guests behaved in a completely unacceptable and disturbingly loud manner, yet the staff did nothing to address the situation. Parking is not truly secured or properly organized. Although the hotel is advertised as dog-friendly, the daily charge for a dog is €70 per day, which in total is almost as much as the cost for one person. The fee is the same regardless of whether the dog weighs 2.5 kg or 28 kg, which seems unreasonable.
