Hostellerie de l'Abbaye de La Celle

Arrivée en moto. En cherchant la réception, on nous répond sèchement vous cherchez quelque chose ?? Oui nous avons réservé une suite ... dès lors ça va un peu mieux. Télé qui ne fonctionne pas dans la suite... ça commence mal. Après le repas soir était bien, sans plus.... bon petit dej par contre. Lieu très agréable. Dommage que l’on ne puisse pas commander de boissons à la piscine.... déçu pour un 5 étoiles.

Stayed for one night on our way into the depths of Provence. This is an oasis that will transport you away from all your worries in life. Arrived for lunch in the garden and it turned out to be one of the best lunches we have ever had. Just perfectly fresh, tasty and beautiful food. You can immediately tell the kitchen has ambitions and yet it all seems so effortless. The gardens and pool area are very tranquil. Had a great dinner in the evening. Will try to come back if we are ever in the area again.

We went to celebrate a Birthday and we were not disappointed. The area around the Abbey is amazing and the Kitchen Garden with the vast array of different vines especially interesting. Although our duplex room was pleasant on the ground floor, the bedroom area was a little cramped and I do like to have a bedroom table next to the bed that is at a proper height. My attempt to be courageous and swim in the pool was foolish. The water was freezing.

Super séjour dans un vrai manoir provencale authentique avec un restaurant au top et une maitre de salle et sommelier tres prof et trop sympathique!

Arrives à 14h, notre chambre ne fut pas prête. Longues discussiuns, jusqu'à quand la responsable l'aura contrôlée. Je suis sur que dans un tel établissement il y avait une chambre de même qualité non utilisée la veille – il n'y a qu'à échanger deux reservations! La réceptionniste n'avait malheureusement nul compétences d'improviser. On s'est rendu compte pendant tout notre séjour qu'une hiérarchie très élevée entre le personnel s'obstinait à toute efficacité. Dommage! Les aiguillettes de canard n'étaient pas tendres du tout, le choix de fromage très décevant. Dommage à un tel endroit.

Lovely hotel with excellent service and amazing food. The restaurant is one of Alain Ducasse's. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is secluded. So, get a rental car to see the surrounding area.
