Excellent welcoming with a french speaking staff. Great advice how to visit the city was a plus and the room with the sea view was super nice ! Its convenient to park the car for free and walk down to the city center. I recommend !

A beautiful view!! A bit far from restaurants for walking. The drive down was fun but parking for the restaurants on the shoreline was limited. Beautiful place to stay.

Great views at breakfast but not in room. Staff was courteous, prompt, and breakfast felt catered. It was nice being just outside of the main streets, making walks into Cefalu easy (hilly), and giving us peace and quiet for sleeping. The walls are a little thin, you can sometimes hear people in the hallway.

Déjà le GPS qui n’indique pas la bonne entrée, le loueur qui aide de loin (sms) en indiquant que d’autres clients ont trouvé. Parking avec 3 places officielles, les autres voitures contre le mur si elles peuvent. Ensuite la chambre promise petite avec salle de bain extérieure mais vue sur la mer. Les 2 premiers critères étaient vrais mais la vue était sur le …. parking. La salle de bain extérieure était privative mais dans le couloir d’accès aux autres chambres et à la cuisine. La clé s’est cassée dans la serrure, Heureusement que cela s’est produit le matin à l’heure du petit déjeuner car sans téléphone j’étais mal. La chambre est correcte mais petite comme la télé. Les murs ne sont pas épais, première nuit avec un nourrisson qui se réveille à 4h et seconde avec des gens qui parlaient assez fort. Petit déjeuner peu débordant sur le balcon avec belle vue sur la mer. Chambre au second étage sans ascenseur. Pour se rendre à pieds en ville, comptez 10 petites minutes mais au retour ça grimpe et les 126 marches pour rejoindre la chambre pourraient décourager les parents avec des enfants. Bref quelques qualités et aussi quelques défauts

A map of Cefalu with its roads running parallel with the coast and the railway makes it obvious that the newer part of the town is on a hillside, so the walk up to the property did not come as a surprise. The fantastic view from the dining room balcony and the lovely breakfast were adequate compensation for this trek. It's a shame there are no grocers near the property: we'd have enjoyed a bottle of wine on that balcony one evening, but maybe limiting our alcohol intake was for the best! I think 'mountain view' is not quite the correct translation for looking out via two levels of residential properties onto a steep green hill. But it did make it clear that it was not a sea view and anway we had better things to do than gaze out of our room.

Our room was on the back side of the building, so we did not have the sea view, but it was spacious and the bathroom (with tub shower) was huge for Sicily. The balcony where breakfast is eaten does have the promised water view, and the breakfast itself was fresh and varied (hams, cheeses, pastries, decent coffee). As noted in other reviews, it is a hike up from the beach area with several sets of stairs up to the apartment complex. However, I’m not in the greatest shape and I found it manageable because all but the top short stretch have shallow steps.

I chose Ma&Mi mainly for the available parking as there is virtually none in the tourist area. As noted in the listing, the B&B has three reserved spaces but they were all taken when we arrived. We parked along a wall opposite the building, along with several other guests who arrived after us, and that worked out fine. Turning off the road into the driveway felt like launching off the edge of a ski slope, but getting back out onto the road was surprisingly easy.

Not able to take shower since there was no hot water
