Sehr schöne Anlage mit viel Charme.

Wir hatten das Hotel ausgesucht, da es mit einem Restaurant und Frühstück ausgezeichnet war. Das Restaurant wurde dann aber einen Tag vor Ankunft geschlossen und das Frühstück gibt es erst ab 8:00, zu spät für Fähren-Nutzer. Das Personal bietet keine alternative Lösung an.

We chose Villa Maya as we wanted to stay in a more traditional hotel and it was close to Pisa airport. Our stay was unremarkable.

Although the building is lovely with authentic furnishings inside, its large garden surroundings are poorly maintained. Outside seating needed a good dust down before we could sit and there was a shabby feel generally. The receptionist was not at all welcoming, our room was clean and comfortable, although dark and small. We had to open the shutters in order to get some natural light to illuminate the room which meant it was quite noisy as opened straight on to the arrival area. The restaurant was the biggest disappointment - definitely style over substance. The claim that dishes weren't available due to having hosted a wedding sampling event was unacceptable - dishes should have been taken off the menu. Breakfast was not available early in the morning, so we had to miss it due to leaving for the airport. Will not return!

Das Haus war eine schöne Landvilla. Die Lage war ruhig. Die Ausstattung und der Garten waren hübsch anzusehen.

Der Service hat gefehlt. Das Personal war freundlich. Der Chef konnte weder grüßen, noch sonst irgend eine nette Geste für seine Gäste finden. Der Fitnessraum war während des gesamten Aufenthalts von 2 Wochen geschlossen. Außer dem Frühstück war keine Möglichkeit für einen kleinen Snack beziehungsweise ein kleines Getränk im Laufe des Tages vorhanden. Die Gaststätte hatte erst ab 19.30 Uhr geöffnet und wurde überwiegend für anderweitige Veranstaltungen genutzt. An diesen Tagen war es dann sehr laut für die Gäste
