We stayed at The Penz from 8–14 June 2026, and our experience could not have been better. The location is absolutely ideal – just around the corner from Maria‑Theresien‑Strasse and the Old Town. The hotel is very wheelchair‑friendly. We were offered an accessible room, but my husband preferred a room with a bathtub, and even the standard room had more than enough space for his mobility scooter. Everything was easy, comfortable and thoughtfully arranged. A very special thank‑you goes to Ms. Vittoria, who helped us with extraordinary patience, experience and kindness during a difficult Lufthansa situation. The hotel was not obliged to assist us at all, yet she went far beyond anything we expected. We are deeply grateful. Our thanks also go to the rest of the reception team – Mr. Marvin Pensi, Joshua, Ms. Remi and Ms. Angel – all of whom were consistently warm, attentive and genuinely helpful. Breakfast on the 5th floor was a daily highlight. The selection is excellent, including exotic fruits, and eggs can be prepared exactly as you like them. I love poached eggs, and they were perfect every morning. A heartfelt thank‑you to Mr. Christopher, the kindest and most charming breakfast manager one could wish for. And also to Mrs. Büchele, Craig, Leon Lucas, and many others whose names we unfortunately did not catch – every single person contributed to a wonderful start to the day. The 5th‑floor bar is also lovely — a bit on the expensive side, but very stylish with a fantastic view over Innsbruck. A great place to end the evening. We will definitely return to The Penz and can recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting Innsbruck. A beautiful hotel, an unbeatable location, and a team that truly cares.
