Le Mas de Peint - Hôtel et Restaurant

The best thing was the Jeep tour of the farm, we loved it. We saw bulls, white horses, wildlife and learnt a lot about Camargue and its culture. The breakfast and dinner were very good and service in the restaurant was good.

They charge 5* prices and it’s not! The room had several issues: 1. The safe didn’t work 2. There was no privacy in the bathroom. 3. The lighting in the bedroom was so dim , I couldn’t read or see what clothes I was putting on! There’s subdued and there’s dark! All these I raised with reception & mostly got sorted eventually, but not before a rude young man had said “oh again” when I went again! The bath/shower was v beautiful to look at but completely impractical. It felt like no-one from the hotel had actually tried anything out and I wasn’t supposed to have high expectations!

the restaurant wasn’t great, the pillows and bed linens were terrible.

Hospitality at the reception, restaurant, housekeepers all were great, also foods were excellent.

Perfect location, amazing staff, it’s a Must in camargue!

If I would have to make a wish I would reconsider the price of the breakfast which we knew it was not included in the price. 25€ it’s a bit expensive (basically 3 breakfast for two people it the price of a room for one night). Could be improved! But apart from that everything was wonderful!

Well kept secret in the heart of the Camargue , family-run business in which the guests feel at home and pampered.

Our beautiful room was on the attic and therefore it wasn’t very luminous so we had to switch the lights on. Also the bathroom - deliciously spacious- could insert a better shower because elderly people risk a fall getting in or out of the bathtub, as there’s no walk-in shower.
