Located on the main street and within walking distance from everything in the town. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Great location to get to Marvao - which I recommend a visit to if you are ever in Portugal. Town was fine but it was mothers day and May day weekend - 1/2 of the town was closed due holiday This is a quite large Hotel, and I think must have been quite prestigious some decades back. The room was quite spacious though I had to book a 3 bed room due to availability issues. Its very hard hard to rate or say anything else because there was a football team (indoor I believe) along with all their fans staying there celebrating their win. Breakfast was great food wise but very disorganized again because of so many people there from football team

The hotel is dated could use additional maintenance. For example they have beautiful original brass fixtures in the bath rooms but they have not been maintained (leak and need polishing). No WIFI due to too many guests

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und herzlich. Wir haben uns schon bei der Ankunft sehr willkommen gefühlt. Auf Fragen wurde engagiert und freundlich geantwortet. Das Frühstück hat uns für die Preiskategorie sehr gut gefallen. Die Zimmerreinigung ist tadellos. Zwar ist die Einrichtung der Zimmer etwas spartanisch und altmodisch, aber das haben wir für den günstigen Preis nicht als störend empfunden. Die Betten sind gut, und im Gegensatz zu vielen teureren Hotels gibt es sofort warmes Wasser, das auch warm bleibt. Auch die Lage ist super. Das Hotel befindet sich am Rand des Zentrums, so dass man zu Fuß schnell überall hinkommt, es aber trotzdem leicht anzufahren ist. Die Parkplatzsituation ist entspannt.

Seltsamerweise gab es keinen Abfalleimer im Zimmer. Und der Frühstückskaffee ist ähnlich schrecklich wie in den meisten portugiesischen Hotels.

Um pequeno almoço muito variado, dentro dos padrões dos hotéis. Foi agradável.
