GDM Megaron, Historical Monument Hotel

Front desk and restaurant staff were very good natured and helpful. The suite was ready when we arrived so we were able to check in a bit early. The furnishings were comfortable and relatively nice. The location was very convenient for our touristic visit.

The pillows were more firm than I would have preferred - and there were no down pillow options.

Le confort et l’équipement des chambres (le lit King size en particulier). La qualité du petit déjeuner. Le service de portage des valises. Nota : nous n’avons pas eu l’occasion de tester la piscine et les services de confort (spa,..)

אהבנו את היחס של הצוות (effi במיוחד). נראה שהמלון נקי, גם החדר, מאובזר כראוי, נוח ונעים, ויש תחושה שהצוות רוצה לתת את השירות הטוב ביותר.המיקום גם מעולה, מרחק הליכה מחנויות ומסעדות טובות, יש נוף יפה ונראה שזו הבחירה הטובה ביותר באיזור הזה שקרוב לשדה התעופה.

הזמנו לילה אחד וציפינו לישון טוב, אבל היה רעש מבחוץ, של מוזיקה שהקשתה עלינו מאוד להירדם. אני לא יודעת אם זה היה חד פעמי או לא אבל ציפינו להתפנק בשנת לילה טובה וזה לא קרה. בנוסף, הייתי ממליצה לנקות יותר את איזור שפת הבריכה שלא היה כל כך נעים לשבת בו בזמן שכשוך במים. למרות כל זאת, הייתי עדיין בוחרת במלון הזה.

great service and facilities

A great location for exploring the old part of Heraklion. Wonderful views from the rooftop restaurant during both the day and evening. The breakfast lived up to its excellent reputation!!

It’s a wonderful hotel in a stunning building.

The bathrooms are overdue a refurbishment and renovation. Also it’s really a very good B&B there isn’t much more than very limited snacks at the top floor roof terrace the ground floor restaurant only being open for breakfast (which is excellent).

Very attentive

Very smart and stylish hotel. Great rooms. Excellent breakfast. Car park outside the door. Well placed for visiting the town - walkable to museums, shops, restaurants and the Fort. Lovely staff who were kind and helpful when my husband was unwell.

Everything was great.
