Bellini Apartment

The location was great, and it was the main reason I chose this place. The host was very kind and allowed me to leave my bag until 12, after checkout. She is very nice and I feel sorry for not being completely honest when I told her I would write a good review. This stay was particularly difficult for me, and I felt it was important to highlight the issues, as the place really needs some improvements. I hope this feedback will be helpful.

I'm really sorry to leave a negative review, but I hope it will help the host make improvements to the accommodation. The main issue was the bed – it was extremely uncomfortable, and you could feel the springs through the mattress. Thankfully, I only stayed one night, because after three nights I wouldn’t have managed. I woke up feeling really tired due to the lack of proper sleep. The bathroom also needs attention. There was a strong smell coming from the toilet, probably due to old drainage. The shower didn’t drain properly and the water ended up overflowing onto the floor. There are no curtains, only wooden shutters. While they can block some light, in the summer it would be unbearable without actual curtains – especially during the daytime. The balcony is extremely close to other buildings, so you have zero privacy – anyone can see you. Another issue was the door handle and lock, which was old and broken and made it very difficult to open and close the door. That definitely needs to be replaced. The fridge was switched off, and I couldn’t find the plug. There were no cutlery items available, and the kitchen area needs some improvements. I would suggest getting rid of that old oil container and old staff – it just makes the place look unclean. Overall, I don’t think the apartment was worth the price. It has potential, but it really needs a proper refurbishment. The photos don’t truly reflect how the place looks in reality. Unfortunately, I don’t recommend this place – especially because of the bed. A host should always guarantee at least a good night’s sleep, which is the most important part of any stay.

Location was quite nice

Pipes made a very strong noise when they have to drain the water from the shower or toilet, and it was possible to hear it for other rooms/apartments. Besides, we were told that parking (which does not belong to the property, it is a public parking) would be 2€/night, which one would understand that it is for each day. Aparently not, and it only applies from 8pm to 7am. We ended up paying 34€ for parking for two nights of our stay

Great location, right in the centre of the city’s most interesting part. Great balcony which was a nice spot for coffee in the morning. Simple and cleanly furnished inside, giving the peaceful and relaxed hideaway from the busy city.

The shower left a little something to be desired and was very slow draining.
