Villa Monica B&B

Pascal and Monica were the perfect hosts! The property is high on a hill about 5 mins from the center of town (with a regular shuttle into and from town) - so you can enjoy all the vibrancy of Sorrento and then have a glass of wine on the terrace with a stunning view all the way across the bay to Vesuvius. Breakfast was great, with a variety of meats, cheeses, fruit and pastries. The rooms and beds were comfortable, although not all have a balcony or stunning view. We would certainly love to visit again!

We were accommodated from the start with a pick up arranged from Sorrento port. Our room was tidied every day with wide breakfast selection provided. The best thing is being able to have a peaceful stay with lifts available to the main town when needed!

Location can be tricky at times but shuttle service available.

Pascal und Monica sind sehr bemühte Gastgeber und hatten schon im Vorfeld viele Infos zur Anreise geschickt! Der Shuttleservice in die Stadt ist super, Pascals Tipps ebenfalls. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön, das Frühstück super und der Ausblick aus Balkon und Terrasse großartig!

No words to describe the experience of staying in Villa Monica. Everything was perfect - the room with the view of the mountain, sea and the volcano from the balcony, the facilities, breakfast, and more than anything the hosts! Pascal and Monica made us feel like we are part of the family or old friends, which made our stay in Sorrento truly unforgettable and for that we are so so thankful. The shuttle to and from Sorrento was super useful, it made us even more carefree during our stay. All in all a perfect stay, if we’re ever back in Sorrento we wouldn’t even think about staying anywhere else.

Villa Monika B&B levde virkelig opp til forventningene. Det lå plassert på en høyde over byen Sorrento med utsikt over både byen og havet utenfor. Fra den flotte frokostplassen var det fantastisk utsikt der en virkelig kunne senke skuldrene og nyte tilværelsen. Rommet var stort og rent med gode senger. Å komme seg til og fra byen var ikke noe problem siden det var satt opp privat transport en gang i timen både morgen og kveld. Pascal var i tillegg veldig fleksibel på tidspunkter for transport. Både han og Monica var strålende verter som fikk en til å føle seg velkommen og som en verdsatt gjest.

Ingenting å klage på.

The only thing I regret is that we booked at the last moment and didn't get a room with a view. Not that our room wasn't great, but the view from Villa Monica is to die for! At least we were able to enjoy an excellent breakfast with a view, every day. Access to the villa isn't the easiest (if you're on two wheels, then it's not really an issue) but we were well warned of that and the hosts even sent us a full-on dashcam video of the drive so that we knew where to go. Speaking of the hosts, they were lovely, so nice and helpful! The shuttle to and from Sorrento was super appreciated and really fast.

ABSOLUTELY BOOK VILLA MONICA!!!! The views, rooms, and grounds are just as beautiful as advertised. The only slight downside is that it is a little outside of the main area of Sorrento, but they provide a regular shuttle service (for free) that makes getting around easy. Pascal is so incredibly friendly and enjoyable to be around. We didn’t spend a lot of time on-site which we regret but will definitely be returning. If you’re looking for beautiful, fairytale views and a peaceful stay look no further!

The shower was quite small which wasn’t a problem for us but could be for others! They were intentional though in placing us in the room we got with the smaller shower because they knew we could fit. Others might inquire to make sure they are placed in a room with a bigger shower.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero piacevole in questo B&B! Gli host sono stati estremamente gentili e disponibili, sempre pronti a fornire consigli utili e a farci sentire a casa. La posizione è ottima, perfetta per visitare la zona e allo stesso tempo godersi la tranquillità. La vista è semplicemente incantevole, un dettaglio che rende l’esperienza ancora più speciale. La colazione, varia e abbondante, è stata una coccola ogni mattina, con prodotti freschi e di qualità. Un posto che consigliamo assolutamente e in cui speriamo di tornare presto!
