Hotel Floridiana

Staff were exceptional, with helpful information about the town, things around, etc. Location is great -- right in the thick of the town, with a convenicvence store at the foot of one of the elevators. Breakfast was excellent. If you bring a car, heed the emails from Agnes ... you will be driving down the main street fuilled with people but they are used to cars coming up and down. There is a traffic light on the up side and down side ... heed that. Honestily, you can get everyplace on the Amalfi coast by ferry or bus from here. Don't use google maps or Apple maps to walk from Ravello to Amalfi ... read what others have said online. There is a little rooftop space that we did not use at all but which looks cool. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

This part of town is very busy with tourists. Walk north towards the lemon experience and through the tunnel and there are many cool things that are much less busy if you need a break from the hords of people.

Excelente relación precio calidad, habitaciones amplia , buena internet, muy recomendable, excelente ubicación en pleno centro, zona comercial y llena de restaurantes, a 10 minutos caminando al puerto! Volveríamos

4th visit to Amalfi and this was the best hotel yet.Wonderful owner.

Great location, large room, helpful staff.

Could have used more vegetarian options at breakfast, especially savory. Beds are very firm and a bit uncomfortable.

The hotel's position is ideal in Amalfi. It's almost next door to the Cathedral, it's in the main street where all the tourists want to visit, shop, eat, drink coffee alfresco. It's what I would call, an Off-Street hotel. It's right in the heart of the main street in Amalfi and is decorated in a very large Italian Villa style, not at all modern. Very comfortable. Other hotels in Amalfi are high up above the sea, have nice sea views, but can be very quiet and don't have the buzz of the main street, within the ZTL traffic free zone.

I've visited Amalfi since the 1990s. It's got a lot busier, and a lot more expensive. Parking is a nightmare. Fortunately, this hotel has it's own garage inside the ZTL zone where you can park overnight.
