Hotel do Elevador

Excelente estadia. Gostamos de tudo. Paisagem incrível, sossego, atendimento, pequeno-almoço muito bom.

La ubicación

No me gustó lo antiguo que está el hotel, la moqueta de la habitación y cortinas. No me gustó el desayuno, le faltaba calidad.

It was clean with fantastic views of Braga and majority of staff were very helpful . We were accommodated with a double bed as opposed to 2 singles and broom is quite large albeit a very dated fridge and TV in the room Bed was comfy and parking outside was easy with a refundable €1 to get into the Dom Jesus area which the hotel is inside. Nothing was too much trouble to organise extras if we wanted them.

No private hotel guest casual seating area on the outside. No service of drinks or snacks in the daytime after breakfast as the bar was closed so difficulty trying to buy a beer. We went to another hotel to get one in the end! Lots of coaches with tourists visiting the Dom Jesus so at times can be hectic parking further away . I Would class hotel as a 3 * due to lack of facilities not 4* Bathroom very tired and dated with thick grout and sink plug hole was difficult to manoeuvre to release dirty water so we removed it. Reported to very young evening lady at reception on arrival but never fixed. Shower had a curtain which stuck to your body when showering so that was annoying. It’s up a long steep winding hill but for a short stay it’s manageable to visit the area as comfortable with safe parking. All 3 hotels in area are owned by same group
