Nice place, great pool, good size rooms, fine stay.

Can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Really excellent and beautiful location, really nice and helpful staff, really quiet, great local food for dinners, good breakfast included, a real chateau with a lot of charm. Staff was very good at making suggestions for places to visit also. Everything we would want in a hotel, really.

The best place we stayed on our two-week trip to Italy. The hotel itself is a gorgeous villa / relais built in the 1600s; the facilities are fabulous; and the staff was extraordinary. The restaurant is beautiful; the food was great; and the garden was gorgeous. (Sunset views were magnificent.) We'd go back in a heartbeat. And we've told everyone about the place.

Neues Navi (Audi) hat das Hotel nicht gefunden. Das Suchen wie früher mit Auskünften von Einheimischen hat sich gelohnt. Freundlicher Empfang mit einem Weisswein nach Wahl, sehr sauberes historisches Haus ohne Lift, atemberaubende Aussicht in gepflegtem Garten, viel Ruhe, nettes Personal, Stromtankstelle mit 2 Plätzen, perfekt funktionierendes WiFi überall.

An excellent family run hotel hiding in the Tuscan hills. Fabulous views, great food (set menu) and really caring staff. Highly recommended.

This has to be one of the most beautiful places that I've ever seen. The villa is romantic and tranquil with an incredible view of the Tuscan countryside. It's obviously quite old, but perfectly restored and with all the modern conveniences. The wifi was a bit spotty in the room, but worked well in the common areas. Agnese, Maria and Paola were very kind and welcoming. It is a bit out of the way, so you should rent a car (or a car and driver) if you're going to stay here. It's a perfect base for exploring the Tuscan countryside.

Relais Villa Bel Poggio was an outstanding experience and even better given its value. The Villa is located at the top of a Hill. The dwelling was refurbished lovingly from a 1600s building. The Adjacent chapel was build some time later (less than a century) but also beautifully restored. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It is the kind of place that you could spend all of your time at, sitting by the pool, relaxing on the grounds, walking the grounds, and reading or talking. We used it as a base for day trips which was perfect. Breakfast was traditional, a sweet/bread table, a salty/savory table and yogurts. I can't say enough good about our experience.
