This hotel is very hard to find. You drive down a winding road from the top of a cliff all the way to the bay. At first it's a little scary but then you settle in and realize just how beautiful it is. There is a lift available during certain hours. Our hotel room was the size of a small apartment, very comfortable with good wifi. But the view... the view was amazing. You look right over the bay that is surrounded by cliffs. What a great way to wake up. The host was so nice and helpful. We would love to return .

We booked this hotel in an effort to find a quiet establishment close to the beach and to town, something Italian. L'Approdo certainly did the trick for us, nice sized room, comfy bed and good shower. Simple but fabulous breakfast with cold meats, cheese, croissants, fruit juice and much coffee / tea as you can drink. Right on the beach with its own good restaurant but close to a gellateria, tobacco shop (coffee/sandwiches etc), two beaches, a couple more restaurants, limoncello producer and right on the marina. A lift took you up the cliff to town a 10 minute walk away - a half hour walk and you are in the centre of Sorrento. Tonino and Anna looked after us so well and helped to make the stay very enjoyable. It's not the ritz but then it's a good Italian b&b that w would whole heartedly recommend.

Por 80 euros o hotel providencia um excelente passeio por Capri, incluindo passagem por algumas grutas, direito a mergulho (toalhas, snorkel e máscara são oferecidos), lanche e bebidas. Passeio este que sai a alguns passos do hotel. O restaurante é bom e muito frequentado.

Tonino-I think was his name as he didn't introduce himself- was helpful in pointing out the local sights and in suggesting places to visit and eat. Breakfast was basic with juice, coffee, and a sweet roll and sweet bread. Location is a surprise, down 230 feet on a winding cobblestone road without sidewalks and not the easiest to get to but there is an elevator that works only 8 am to 1 pm. Unit we stayed in was clean. There''s a kitchen but it's not to be used and only beverages are allowed in the refrigerator. The owner also runs the restaurant and I think they want you to eat there instead of fixing your own food. There is some road noise from the stone street. We did not have an ocean view or balcony and didn't know if it was available. If we went again we would ask for a room with a view.

Tonino and his wife were so very friendly and approachable. The made sure that our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. Our room had a sea side view of the harbor and was absolutely immaculate.

This B&B is a good value place to stay. The rooms are large with all the necessary furniture (cupboards, tables and a small tv) and all have a view of the marina and so face the road which can be noisy in the morning as the marina comes to life. The owners have a small restaurant with a terrace outside which is perfect to watch the sunset. The restaurant has a good menu with fresh fish every day. Breakfast is served inside and is a basic Italian breakfast including coffee, fruit juice and a croissant. You need to be prepared to walk up some fairly steep slopes to take advantage of public transport as the B&B is at below the cliff edge of Piano. You can spend one day there if you want to stay on the beach, but there's not much more to do there.To explore the area or to get into Sorrento you will need to walk to the station which takes about 15-20 minutes including the steep walk. The trains run 2-3 times an hour and only take 5 minutes to Sorrento and for 15 euros for 3 days travel it's a real bargain. Taxis to sorrento cost about 20-25 Euros and this increases after 11pm. If you want a quiet location for your holiday but want to be able to travel in to Sorrento and explore the local area this is a good place to stay, but you have to be prepared to walk, or hire a car.
