Hotel Relais al Convento

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was spotless with a nice view over the internal courtyard. All the main sights were within a 5 minute walk. A huge choice at the buffet style breakfast. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a city break in Verona.

I was really happy with the quality of my room. It had a beautiful rustic look and had a wonderful view of the hills outside. Staff was great. Breakfast was good. Worth the price.

Hotel muy tranquilo con un servicio excelente.

L'hôtel est vraiment charmant et a été rénové avec beaucoup de goût. Il est situé dans un joli petit village très coloré adossé à une colline. Les chambres sont confortables et très bien agencées. Par contre, le restaurant de l'hôtel est la seule note négative du séjour, les plats étaient vraiment mauvais et sans saveur, malgré toute la gentillesse du serveur. Peut-être était-ce dû au fait que nous y étions hors-saison (février).

Vi overnattet på Al Convento i to dager. Det var ingenting å utsette på hotellet dersom man ønsker å komme litt vekk fra turistvrimmelen, men fremdeles være bare noen minutter unna alt. Hotellet ligger i en sjarmerende landsby på en liten ås, og det er interessant å spasere i nabolaget. Velg riktig vei opp til hotellet dersom du ikke er redd for smale veier. Stol med andre ord ikke ubetinget på veivalget som GPS-en gir.) Det finnes både barer og dagligvarebutikker i spaseravstand. Hotellet har også en restaurant som serverte gode lokale retter. Vi tilbrakte en dag i Cinque Terre. Vi kjørte til Levanto og tok toget derfra. Hotellet har hatt flere funksjoner opp i gjennom historien, blant annet som kloster. Ombyggingen til hotel er imidlertid gjort på en utmerket måte, og komfort og histore går hand i hand. Hotellbetjeningen snakket godt engelsk og var veldig hjelpsomme. Frokosten var god og ble inntatt på verandaen. Hotellet har egen hage med solsenger hvor man kan tilbringe tiden om man ønsker det. Ville definitivt brukt same hotell dersom vi reiser til same området ved en senere anledning.

Hotellet ligger i en idyllisk landsby højt over La Specia, med flotte udsigter over hele områder, og med kort afstand til Cinque Terra og er derfor et perfekt valg til at opleve området. Hotellet er rent, pænt, og har en dejlig have til afslapning. I hotellets stueetage ligger en god og enkel restaurant med udeservering i haven. Både hotel og restaurant kan absolut anbefales, hvis man søger en ægte italiensk oplevelse!

Le camere sono arredate benissimo e molto pulite, la posizione dell'albergo non è comodissima per chi vuole fare vita di mare, ma il paese in cui è ubicato è meraviglioso e offre relax e bellissime camminate immerse nella natura.

Hotel is situated near the top of mountain and the views are fantastic! Feels like you have travelled back in time. Dinner very reasonable and a bottle of wine was only 6 euro :)

A little off the beaten track, it was dark and we chose it as it was" close" to the airport, and we where heading north to Como the next day . we rang ahead to say we would be late booking in due to the fligt time and the staff where polite and helpful . Ariving late there was no food available , however the breakfast which was in cluded in the price per night was plentiful with much choice, we ate on the terrace ( there was also an indoor beakfast room) the veiw from here looked down the valley which was lovely the only thing that spoilt it was the overloaded bins just below the terrace other than that a pleasent stay for 1 night . It was difficult to locate even with an uptodate sat Nav

Maybe I should have read where this hotel was because we had a long drive up out of town to get to it and was not expecting that. Also, the staff is very limited in english and we did not get a good night sleep. It seems IKEA is the bed of choice in a lot of places and this one was hard. We did eat a the restaraunt next door and it was delicious, but we will not go back to this hotel.
