Hotel du Nord

My husband and I stayed here while visiting Corte. It started out rough since we could not find any parking. After about 30 minutes we called to ask about the free parking advertised and the person on the phone said they didn't have any. My husband is French so there was nothing lost in translation. He ended up dropping me off and finding a spot about 15 minutes walking distance. When we checked in they said they did have parking and someone gave us wrong info. That stinks because we were exhausted and wasted 45 minutes in total. Our room was nice, clean, but with a view of street graffiti - not so nice. The place is very centralized and we were able to find a wonderful place to eat near the fountain. They offer breakfast for 1 Euro. This is not only a good deal but by far the best breakfast we had in all of Corsica. Definitely would recommend.

While the entrance of the hotel and cover of the building look very dodgy, the inside is actually completely new. The rooms are very spacy and modern. The owner is friendly and helpful to recommend some activities around the city. Great plus point: great breakfast buffet for 1 euro per person, I personally had never seen that!

Vraiment Depassé Pas de parking, petit déjeuner très moyen, chambre a refaire car vétuste. Pour le prix même si on comprend que la concurrence est faible sur Corte un effort serait nécessaire Le fait qu'il soit en plein centre n'est même pas un atout

Friendly staff pleasant room central location quiet room.

This was our second stay in this hotel in two years, which says it all. It is centrally located, reasonably priced, clean, and the room was very spacious and comfortable. Staff are friendly, and a continental breakfast can be had at the café downstairs for the sum of 1 euro!

Really good value. Very unprepossessing from the outside, but room was excellent for two stars, and a servicable buffet breakfast provided in the cafe on the ground floor. Although room overlooked the main road in the centre of Corte, traffic was not a problem. Room had a ceiling fan, so not sure what the temperature will be like in mid summer.
