Rio Arade Manor House

We really enjoyed our weeks stay, lovely Manor house with friendly Staff, who are always pleasant and helpful. The house has got Beautiful Gardens and is well set out, with a nice quiet pool facility. The manor house had plenty of Character and we would highly recommend it for a relaxing holiday.

This is what all hotels should be like! Comfortable, cozy, calm, family business, beautiful backyard with a pool, good breakfast, friendly staff

We loved our stay at Rio Arade. Without a car with which to get around, I think the location would make it hard to access the wonderful areas & beaches. We had a car and found it easy to move around the Algarve to Carvoeira and Ferragudo. Ana is a treasure--warm, helpful, and efficient. The rooms need some updating (linens, curtains, etc), but they are clean and private and the staff are terrific. The house really offered a perfect stay...we did not want to go!

Pleasent oasis in low income neighbourhood. Staff were polite and nice.

Overall very good. Stayed for 6 days. Breakfast uninspiring and unchanging No tea coffee available in room or public area. Lovely courtyard garden. The weather was poor during our stay and so the room felt cold and a bit damp. Staff were lovely

Very very lovely ! Beautiful courtyard pool area. Our room was huge and very rustic and cosy but could do with a few slight changes to make it perfect. John and Anna looked after us and could not have been more helpful.

A nice, homely feel with friendly helpful staff. The owner was always available with helpful tips about where to go, what to see and where to eat - a good dry sense of humour helped

We loved our stay here. Carlos was so accommodating! He even picked us up and showed us around when we arrived in Lagoa. John was helpful in telling us places to walk. The 2 restaurants Carlos recommended were excellent and reasonably priced. Would love to come back now that we know the area.

Carlos was so nice and helpful! He definitely made our stay. It's a very charming, quaint place to stay for the evening. We loved breakfast on the terrace. Excellent restaurant within walking distance. We will definitely be back for another visit! Extremely clean and well maintained property.
