Villa Le Zagare Relais & SPA

Beautiful property, not far by car from Pompeii and Herculaneum. It was a perfect stay with incredibly friendly staff and a great room. Breakfast had lots of choices including hot options. The pool area is absolutely gorgeous, one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen. We absolutely loved our stay.

A nightmare. The infrastructure is good and the staff is excellent, but the hotel is an event venue for weddings and birthday parties. There are parties almost every day until late at night—not only is the noise disturbing, but several areas are also unavailable for use. Terrible experience!

We had a great experience during our visit in June. Staff were great and food very good. We liked the fact that the hotel can arrange a driver (at a reasonable fee) to take you places such as the marina to get the ferry.

The spa is great for couples

At midnight, hotel staff began moving items. Despite three warnings to the hotel reception and moving staff, the sounds of moving items from the upper floor continued until 3:00 AM. Our warnings were completely ignored. The staff and receptionist were dismissive of our discomfort. The moving staff simply said, "It's the hotel manager's instructions, there's nothing they can do." This is a party hotel; noise at reasonable hours is normal, but moving items and causing noise that disrupts guests' sleep at night, as if the hotel is being demolished, is unacceptable. You are entitled to one bottle of water per person upon arrival in your room. Afterward, you must pay for drinking water for each day of your stay.
