Muralto Madrid Princesa

Very nice and spacious rooms and huge bathroom, it was like a little apartment and had kettle, microwave and fridge freezer which is great to have for cold drinks etc,the staff are very friendly and helpful and it's walking distance to every thing like shops restaurants metro etc,I'd stay again, top marks

Close to the center (15-20 min. from Gran Via) but far enough to feel what it would be like to live in a residential neighborhood in Madrid. One block from the Metro (subway), taxis, and major stores like El Corte Ingles dept. store. I have stayed here several times already with my family and it meets my expectation from a family hotel. Apartment is big, kitchen and big, big bathroom.

This is our second stay. Comfortable rooms at a decent price. We would highly recommend staying at the Muralto while in Spain. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Madrid city life but still had the charms of the "el campo".

A good experience! Not great kitchen facilities but you don't need them in Madrid with so many places to eat out. The hotel's location was close to a metro and convenient by tube from the airport. Our room was very quiet, which was a real bonus.

Everything was good, large room, in quiet side road. Good transport links and restaurants, cafes, shops nearby. Only thing is we had to ask twice for cleaning stuff for dishes/bowls and for a a pot to warm water -a kettle would be a good addition.

The room was small, but it met our needs for the two days we were in Madrid. Wonderfully helpful staff were welcoming, offering options for ways to get around and things to see and do.

Reasonable accommodation although the window was for the internal area and in an add-on to the corner of the room. There was some noise like dragging something from somewhere in the hotel around midnight. Good location with good restaurants nearby,

Room was very cold. Phone would ring over and over with people trying to contact the front desk. Finally I had to unplug it. Overall not a comfortable hotel.
