We couldn’t be happier about our time spent in Minori at this gorgeous little hotel with wonderful welcoming staff, who made an incredible breakfast every morning with coffees of our choice and a variety of fresh and delicious foods. The breakfast on the patio overlooking Minori every morning was a highlight of our trip in itself, as well as the cheerfulness of the ladies hosting the breakfast. There is staff available 24/7 and hotel access is monitored all night, plus they will mix you (very affordable) drinks with complimentary chips to enjoy on the patio any time of the day/night. Listening to the ocean and activity below from our room every night was magical, and it was so great to be so close to a free beach to swim at. When they say 50 steps away from the beach, they truly mean it. We realize that with mobility issues it would be tough to get up to and from the hotel but we loved the winding stairs. We spent a short time in towns Amalfi, Ravello, Maiori, Positano (ferry transfer) and Sorrento, and we are happy we spent most of our time in Minori, and had it as a home base. The busyness level was perfect and it felt like a truly authentic little Italian town experience, with endless restaurants nearby that were all amazing. You can walk to so many different places/towns from there and if you are into hiking it has so many areas to explore. If we make it back to the Amalfi coast, this is where we will be staying again. I even got teary when the lady hosting the breakfast gave me a goodbye hug on our last morning because of how much I’ll miss it there. Thank you for the unforgettable experience, wonderful people at Palazzo Vingius. You all know how to make people feel truly welcome and show them good hospitality.

The staff at Palazzo Vingius are incredibly warm and welcoming. The room was as advertised, and we had help in navigating the city throughout our stay. The breakfast was convenient and felt personal/special. The property is lovely, we cannot recommend both Minori as a whole as well as Palazzo Vingius, for a small town, personalized feel in an area that can feel overly curated to tourists.

Be ready for lots of steps! If you have a lot of luggage, you'll want to save some cash for help to have your bags moved up. The elevator is pretty small making it a bit difficult on check in/out.

The stairs. Which we were told about from the beginning but decided to take a punt. Would t stay here if you not good with stairs.
