The Chocolate Suites

The property is right in the heart of Brugge, a stone's throw from the Markt Square. I could see the tower of the Belfort from the bed. The bathroom was excellent, with a large bath and shower. We also liked having a fridge in the room.

The decor of the hotel is a bit worse for wear, with some of the wallpaper starting to peel. The mattress of the bed is definitely in need of replacement. It felt like it was missing some springs on one side. We didn't see any staff throughout our stay, and our bin was getting very full after 4 nights.

Posizione abbastanza centrale, facilità di accesso all hotel con tastiera con codice per aprire la porta, comodo pratico e semplice vista la completa assenza di personale. Locale x depositare bagagli all ingresso comodo da poter usare prima e dopo il check out. Camera piccolina ma Comunque confortevole, molto utile la presenza di macchina del caffè con cialde e bollitore in camera . Carini i cioccolatini di benvenuto.

Camera troppo calda , abbiamo dovuto tenere la finestra aperta tutta la notte. Impossibile abbassare il riscaldamento . Unico prodotto di cortesia nel bagno: un dispenser con un generico sapone rosa nella doccia, nulla d altro. Materasso troppo molle, sembrava quasi sfondato.

Bij aankomst kregen wij een kamer toegewezen waar de omstandigheden ronduit onaanvaardbaar waren. De temperatuur in de kamer bedroeg naar schatting ongeveer 28 graden, terwijl de verwarming uit stond. Daarnaast was de kamer absoluut niet hygiënisch: er was zichtbaar schimmel aanwezig, de wc-pot was vervuild, en op meerdere plaatsen lagen lange haren van eerdere gasten. Dit is volledig in strijd met elementaire schoonmaak- en hygiënestandaarden. Na dit te hebben gemeld, kregen wij een andere kamer toegewezen. Helaas bleek ook deze kamer ondermaats. Het bed was van dermate slechte kwaliteit dat de vering van het matras duidelijk voelbaar in de rug drukte, waardoor normaal slapen onmogelijk was. Ook deze kamer voldeed niet aan wat op uw website wordt beloofd. Daarnaast wil ik benadrukken dat de accommodatie niet overeenkomt met de beschrijving en foto’s op uw website: de kamer was aanzienlijk kleiner, duidelijk verouderd, en er is sprake van achterstallig onderhoud. Dit voelt misleidend en heeft het verblijf ernstig negatief beïnvloed.

Si hay que decir algo sería que no hay ascensor. Pero son dos pisos como mucho.

La ubicación, y el poder dejar tú equipaje antes y después de la estancia.

Nice and clean and next to city centre

No lift had to walk up stairs to 2 floor, and they refused to take my old broken suitcase , and it’s actually to depose of large waste items without a city pass

Le confort de la literie !! Ainsi que la douche qui était très spacieuse. Il faisait fort bon, presque trop chaud. Les essuies étaient top et en suffisance. Merci également pour les petits chocolats qui sont une chouette attention.

Le prix était un peu élevé pour le standing de la chambre. Il y avait pas mal de petits détails défectueux comme l'horloge qui n'a plus de pile, des tâches sur le mur, le robinet qui ne tient plus bien en place, une des vis de la porte de la SDB qui s'est enlevée au moment d'ouvrir la porte (je l'ai remise en place moi-même), les câbles apparents. Il est également précisé dans l'annonce que des articles de toilette sont disponibles mais il faudrait préciser quoi car on ne sait pas si dans le distributeur de la douche c'est du shampooing ou du savon ou les 2. L'endroit est également très peu insonorisé, si on n'a pas prévu de boules QUIES, on peut vite être incommodé par le bruit.

Great location

Abysmal security. Same code for access and room and unable to lock it properly. The morning of checkout the next guests had already been given the code (before checkout time) so they walked in on us. Deeply concerned about security and keeping belongings in the bedroom. This drove the entire score.

Rooms were nice, bed comfortable. My room was located on 2nd floor, although i did not have any problems with stairs, one should know that there is no lift for people.
