"The best place to stay in Bayeux!"

I can’t say enough good things about Le Tardif. it’s in the heart of Bayeux literally you can sit in the garden and see the cathedral and even though it’s walking distance to everything it’s a quiet peaceful sanctuary with a beautiful garden and private pool. the staff couldn’t have been more attentive. the owner went out of his way to make our stay extra special. we rode bikes from the hotel to the landing beaches and each day when we came back it was like coming home.

there’s nothing not to like.

"Superb"

Lovely stay! Quirky room layout and bathroom was overlooking street, but this was NOT an issue! You can't see anything from the street! And it is a quiet part of town. Clean, and good AC! Breakfast was great! Enjoyed the garden in the evenings. Hosts were wonderful!

The location was good, walking distance to everything. The grounds were beautiful.

Our bathroom faced a busy street on the ground level. We were concerned about privacy and were assured that the frosted glass provided complete privacy as there were no inside draperies to close. When we realized that you could see in to our bathroom, we brought this up to management and they were very dismissive towards our situation. We don’t feel this was handled properly and felt violated that people walking outside our bathroom at night could see inside. we have traveled a lot within France and feel that this hotel was over priced for the value.

Location perfect and lovely gardens. Charming staff. Town centre car parking. Comfortable bed. Nice kitchenette.

Quite expensive. Unusual room layout in room 7. Bathroom windows open onto the pavement without privacy curtains especially at night. Footsteps from room above.
