Leonardo Hotel

Although it was just a one-nighter this time, the service at Hotel Leonardo was very friendly, the room cozy, clean and convenient and the price reasonable. I would come back.

Friendly helpful staff who couldn't do enough for us, especially Alex. Close to city in green belt area very safe, terrific breakfast with variety, large clean rooms and comfortable beds opening to a garden where you could sit out of the heat of the day. Taxi reasonable price to city centre and bus terminal which the hotel organised for us.

We stayed in an economy room for 5 nights in March. Room was clean and comfortable, although not particularly big. Bathroom was very small and the shower was extremely small with a handheld shower head, which didn’t have a wall bracket. Showering was quite an experience, especially for my husband who is 6ft 1". We found our room to be quiet and slept well each night. Breakfast was a basic buffet, but all fresh and nice a way to start your day. The city centre, restaurants and bars were about a 15 to 20 minute walk away. The last 5 minutes coming back is uphill, but not too steep. At the bottom of the hill, there are a few small supermarkets useful for stocking up on any food or alcohol etc. for the room. For us, the outstanding element to the hotel is the staff. We encountered 4 different receptionists while we were there, all of which spoke excellent English and went out of their way to be as helpful as possible, answer any queries we had and help with local transport. We really felt that they took an interest in us. Every time we met a new receptionist they seemed to know all about us (and we're not that memorable!). Certainly recommend this hotel for it's customer service alone, but the location and the hotel are good anyway.

Room was very small. Breakfast was great. Staff was very, very helpful. But location was a bit out of the way.

We chose the hotel based on its proximity to the meeting and also baes on the good reviews. We were not disappointed - the hotel has a boutique feel w modern amenities, good breakfast, friendly and responsive staff, and close (10 min walk) to the touristic places. Would gladly stay there again

The front desk personnel (day & evening) are very helpful. Offered what to see in the city & surrounding. . The bath room needs improvements & the rate is too high compared other countries,

Hotel Leonardo is both charming and comfortable with a staff that made my two day stay a pleasure. Located in a quiet area, the hotel is only a ten minute walk to the City Center, shopping malls, and the fascinating "old market." Once again, the staff was exceptionally friendly and caring and I commend them for making such a fine effort.

Hotel was located just outside the city center in a nice quiet residential section of town. Easy access to city center and bazzar by taxi for only $2-3 US.Staff was wonderful, arranged for me to be picked up at airport at half the normal taxi price, and helped secure a sightseeing guide. Very helpful also about shops, eating, etc. Would definitely stayagain.
