when asked to fix a squeek on the bathroom door that keeps waking me up . They did not get it done

This property is superb in every way! Lee Anne welcomed us at check in and was extremely helpful. This place is an absolute gem!

It was a short stay,,but a very memorable one that me and wife won't forget,and the hotel is the most luxurious,hotels we have ever come across, service was 1st class, especially from the host lee-ann,,and rooms spacious,and top notch,, easy accessable,and we enjoyed the cinema,a real state of the art cinema in the hotel lol watched a movie,great amazing view over the ocean,from the upper floor rooms,,. Very welcoming and we will definitely be back,,..5*****.

I rounded off a 10 day driving solo travel experience up the garden route by ‘unexpectedly’ cutting off the from N2 and heading towards Hermanus. I was tired and I wanted to stay somewhere really special on my last solo night - I know from experience, how one ends a trips affects the entire memory of a holiday _ and being solo I wanted the memory to encourage me to attempt it again. From the minute I walked into the misty waves hotel I was greeted with open arms and the biggest smile. I was exhausted and cld hardly tell left from right. Joanne at reception cld tell and immediately took charge. She showed me the way to a sea facing room, then to their heated pool and a restaurant on site. She knew exactly what I needed. I threw down my bags got into my costume and floated under the stars in the warm, turquoise lit pool. It was heaven. I then had the most beautiful meal and sleep. This morning early I headed to Ficks tidal pool across the road the hotel. Thanks to a late check out that Jo arranged with my check in I was able to explore Hermanus a bit and collect my bags before I headed off back to the real world. I can’t wait to be back and do it all again in May.

The hotel is well laid out with good amenities. heated pool was great for our Granddaughter.

The property has grown over the years, adding new floors, a penthouse level, and a private cinema, which shows that the owners are investing in the place rather than coasting on reputation. There's a warmth here that you don't always find in larger hotels — it genuinely feels like it's run by people who care LOCATION:Sitting at 21 Marine Drive, the hotel is roughly a 4–5 minute stroll from the heart of Hermanus village, the craft markets, the Old Harbour Museum, and the Whale House Museum. The iconic Cliff Path — arguably one of the best land-based whale watching spots in the world — is right on your doorstep. DINE + DRINK: The Heritage Restaurant, positioned in the hotel garden beside the pool, is a pleasant spot — especially in the evenings when the garden is lit up and the atmosphere leans romantic. ROOM: We stayed in Room 205, so this review is based on that. The room was genuinely impressive — spacious, well-decorated, and in many cases enormous by boutique hotel standards. The ornate furnishings give the place its character: four-poster beds in some suites, spa baths, private balconies overlooking Walker Bay, and that particular kind of indulgence that makes you feel like you've genuinely treated yourself.; VIEW: lovely view of the sea from the cute balcony attached to the room; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM:Huge bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: good quality toiletries FACILITIES: No Gym on site. But they do have a cute & compact HEATED outdoor pool that is usable all day long SERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. Special Shout-out to DANIELLE for enhancing our stay and a very warm welcome! HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Big Smart TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in multiple languages
