"Nice Family Atomosphere in Bocagrande"

8.0

Stayed here for 3 nights on my honeymoon after staying for 3 nights in the old city (Getsemani). San Pietro is a nice little place - breakfast is awesome, restaurant downstairs is solid, and room was clean and big. I asked for a room that faced the terrace so I had no problems with noise. There are a ton of food options within walking distance. You will need to take a taxi to go back and forth to the old town but it's fairly easy to catch a taxi and it'll only cost you around $3-$4. Service itself is ok. People at the front desk aren't necessarily smiling and trying to go above and beyond to make you happy but they are nice nevertheless. I recommend the place overall.

Well decorated. Close to beaches. Helpful staff. Air conditioning not very efficient but works. Relatively simple breakfast in nice patio. We enjoyed it a lot.

"Pictures nice but reality different"

4.0

The hotel first floor is nice like in the pictures. The second floor is not as nice as the first. Breakfast is limited. There is not variety in the menu. Always the same eggs and plenty of cheap bread. Although the breakfast schedule says until 10:00 a.m. There were many times that we had breakfast at 8:00 a.m and it was half breakfast. They would not prepare more for us. Very disappointing. Staff at the hotel are nice and do their best to help you. The room's bathroom is rather small. It floods after every shower. Definitively, I would not go back to this hotel.

"Hotel is very pleasant with a very friendly staff,"

10.0

We were at the hotel in early May, which is a fairly slow time. The hotel is quite attractive in an excellent location for restaurants, etc. Not far from the beach. They seemed to be well staffed. Only hesitation is that most staff have very limited English skills. So, like most of Colombia, be prepared with at least a few Spanish phrases.

"Good location"

8.0

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was included and was served on a patio. It was well presented and complete. The jacuzzis were not available all of the time because of maintenance but when they were, it was refreshing to use since the weather was low 30's. There was everything you need just around the corner: banks, supermercados, restaurants etc.... The hotel staff helped us with setting a city tour which took us downtown in the historical Cartagena. The beach is beautiful and only 2 blocks away. We would stay there again.

"Great place to stay"

6.0

A friend and I stayed here for one night in April. What stood out most to me about this hotel was the service. Everyone was very friendly and bent over backwards to accommodate us, even going as far as storing our luggage after check out! As far as the actual hotel goes, it was modest, exactly what you'd expect for that price point. It was a nice step up from a hostel, but I wouldn't exactly call it luxurious.

"nice hotel near the beach"

The hotel is nearby the beach. It has nice breakfast, free wifi and good Italian restaurant. Very good pizza. However, the lady in the reception is not very warm-hearted.

"Great Hotel"

10.0

Just stayed at the hotel for the 2nd time. I really like the hotel, it has character with its wood balconys, beams and banisters. There is some tropical fish tanks and the staff are friendly. Its also quiet and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were good and there is an Italian restaurant adjoined to it.

"Great hotel in the middle of Bocagrande"

10.0

My girlfriend and I had a terrific experience here for 5 nights in January 2013. The hotel is in a busy and safe area (one block off the noisy main street San Martin),steps away from many restaurants and stores and two blocks away from the beach. We had a standard room and it was very clean, made up every day and the air conditioning was fantastic. A buffet breakfast was served every day in a beautiful courtyard, and there is a restaurant attached to the front of the hotel that was very good. The hotel staff was very friendly and there was good free WiFi throughout the rooms and outside public areas. The best kept secret is the lounge chairs and hammock on the roof! Taxis are plentiful right outside the hotel and it's less than a 10 minute drive to the walled city. We actually walked every day to the walled city, which was totally safe and about 45 minutes each way. We really cannot say enough good things about Hotel San Pietro
