"Nice place and enjoy the roof top."

6.0

Was a nice hotel. Staff knew some english and I knew some spanish so it was not a problem. They make you check guests in, which was not a problem. Food at breakfast and dinner was pretty good (breakfast included). Its in a busy area so really not a problem to walk around and taxi's are everywhere (and cheap)...if you need one. Not that far of a drive to the walled city. I would watch out for locals as when you go to popular spots they will want to show you around (and later hound you for money for doing so, regardless how many bottles of liqour you shared with them lol). Most of the people are poor so its understandable. Under the influence I was taken to some shady areas not close to the city, so I def dont reccomend doing that. Thankfully I am built they way I am so I was never messed with...but I was a bit uneasy at times. That being said...they made sure I got back to my hotel ok. Hotel staff was available 24/7 and the price was ok.

"Great experience at the San Pietro"

8.0

My boyfriend and I spent a night at the San Pietro and very much enjoyed the experience. It was one of three hotels we stayed at in Cartagena, and is hands-down the one that I would recommend to friends. We stayed in a superior double room -- it was large, and comfortable. Our room overlooked the courtyard where breakfast was served, and was quiet at nice. The staff at the hotel is very friendly, courteous, and helpful. They were a great resource to have during our time there. The hotel is in Bocagrande, which is outside of the center of the city. That being said, I think it's a great option -- the hotels in the center tend to be either very expensive or more along the lines of cold water hostels. The San Pietro is a great value and is a short taxi ride away from the old city; taxis are very available in Bocagrande, making the hotel pretty convenient.

"Clean and inexpensive"

8.0

All I wanted were a couple of rooms that were clean and inexpensive...this hotel provided both as well as employees that were friendly. The San Pietro is not in the heart of the tourist section, but is only about a five dollar (1/2011) taxi ride. The neighborhood is not the greatest, but that is not to say it isn't acceptable, it is. On the other hand, if I wall willing to spend better than double the amount, I could have stayed in the old town area - my cost was about $80.00 per night per room.

"Would go Round 2 at San Pietro"

10.0

This hotel was great! It was walking distance from the beach, restaurants and the beautiful strip. There are 24 hr stores right around the corner. The staff were friendly and helpful, they helped book our tours and chiva ride. Breakfast was good and served in the patio. I loved the art work everywhere, the hotel had character and the rooms were clean and neat although our safe didnt work. I would definetely go back to this hotel!

"An Adequate Hotel"

8.0

The staff were accomodating. The rooms were realitively clean. This is a low to mid budget hotel so the price could be a little lower. Generally, it was worth the stay.

"decent hotel in Colombia"

8.0

very friendly staff, conditioners are working well, clean comfortable room. But some of the rooms are very small with one twin bed, with no window to outside , but with the window overlooking to stairs (it was really ridiculous for me). We got room like that initially when checked in. I told that I can not breath in room like that, so they changed our room to one with bed king size and window looking to patio. they serve nice continental beakfast on the patio with freshly squeezed juices, fruits, cheese, pancakes and eggs. However who has a problem to sleep in noisy location, should take earpluges to fall a sleep there - air conditioners are really noisy at night.

"Good impression!"

8.0

In general, it is a nice hotel! Clean, free internet, service is good, people are nice and restaurant is also ok, but the shower is not good (hot water, but no pressure at all) and some rooms are in a very noisy environment. I was in one of them and woke up 5am because they started preparing breakfast :( Then, I asked to change and the other room was really nice and well decorated, with fridge and locker. Breakfast is ok, with fruits, bread, cereal and etc..., but pretty much the same everyday. It is located in Bocagrande, which is a nice area and has everything you need on a walking distance. Overall, I would certainly go back there if I go to Cartagena.

Me and my wife spent 13 day's at this hotel, the breakfest was great, the maid service, the laundry service the bed's were comportable, it has an amazing old Italian archeticture, it has a roof-top hot tub, with hammock's, it's located 5-minutes from the beach, there are many resturant's within walking distance, market's to shop and put some snack's in your refriderator.taxi service out front, internet cafe across the street, what more could you ask for! and the price was a bargain, the management was top notch, parking across the street, bus service,15 minutes to the city center, it was a pleasure!!cant wait to come back.
