I loved that Camerine di Silvia is on the edge of the old town. It’s close to the Campo but the view out the window was trees and birds and hills. It was clean and simple, but had a shower and a bed and I didn’t need much else. The owner was very communicative even if I didn’t see her much, but that worked just fine. This was a highlight of my Italian trip.

Location, good room and cleaning

Had a late check in and our keys weren’t in the lock box. Thankfully, we called the host and she got up at 12:30am to let us in with her keys.

Location is superb! Super cute! Super clean! Silvia helped us wirh directions, a cork screw and an earlier check in when we were in trouble. What a gem. Grazie! We will be back. X

the location the bed was comfortable

Damp !! bathroom need a update thin cotton towels no toiletries at all not at all very welcoming !! host not helpful or friendly if you are coming by car it’s a nightmare as it’s a car free zone & it’s hard to park !! didn’t find this out until we booked & host will only take cash again didn’t find out until after booking … could not cancel without charge !!!

A truly wonderful location - beautiful views over Tuscany hills and close to the town centre. The house has a lovely garden as well and the owner was very nice. We arrived by train and even though it might be a bit far for some, it was really not a problem for us. It’s a 40 minute walk through the old centre of Siena.
